TESTOSTERONE ENANTHATE INJECTIONS
Testosterone injection is used in men and boys to treat conditions caused by a lack of this hormone, such as delayed puberty, impotence or other hormonal imbalances. Testosterone injection is also used in women to treat breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

- Usual Adult Dose for Hypogonadism - Male
IN INJECTION :
1. Testosterone Undecanoate: 750 mg (3 mL) IM injection followed by 750 mg (3 mL) injected after 4 weeks, then 750 mg (3 mL) every 10 weeks thereafter.
2. Testosterone Enanthate and Cypionate: 50 to 400 mg IM injection every 2 to 4 weeks - FOR OTHER CONDITIONS - As pescribed by the doctor.

- Testosterone is secreted into the blood and carried to target cells in the male reproductive organs. Most of the testosterone is transported bound to a specific plasma protein called sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Once bound to the androgen receptor, DHT or testosterone forms a complex that undergoes a structural change. This complex then moves into the nucleus of the cell and binds to specific nucleotide sequences of DNA which are termed hormone response elements. This binding of the complex to the elements brings about changes in the transcription of various proteins mediated by specific genes, which produces the androgenic effects of the cells.
