It is used for treating rheumatoid arthritis and juienile idiopathic Arthritis Sarcoidosis, Nephrotic syndrome Asthama and COPD Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura Alternative for immuno suppression after renal transplantation.

Dosage and Administration :

  • As prescribed by your doctor.
    Adults - initial upto 120mg/day
    Children - 0.25-105 mg/kg/day on alternate days

  • Deflazacort is used as an immunosuppressant. Deflazacort works by acting within cells to prevent the release of certain chemicals that are important in the immune system.
